Return Policy

If you are unhappy with your purchase returns are acceptable as long as the merchandise is not used or damaged by the customer. To return an order you MUST notify customer service for return procedures first. There is a 15% restocking fee charged for all furniture, in addition return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. If you wish to return your order please contact Customer Service. A credit on your account will appear within 5 business days after the returned product is received minus the restocking fee. However, if your furniture has arrived damaged please see below for warranty information. If you suspect your furniture is damaged at the time of delivery you should make a not on the bill of laden before signing it.


Privacy

Your privacy is taken very seriously by North Cedar Company. At no time will any third party have access to your name, contact information, e-mail address, or credit card information. Your name and address will only be given to the manufacturer for delivery of your order. See full privacy statement.


Placing an Order

Your order will be processed within one business day of you placing it. You will receive an e-mail confirmation for your order and payment. You will also receive a follow-up email with shipping information and when you can expect your order. Our furniture is almost always available for shipment when the order is received, however occasionally your furniture must be manufactured. If this is the case you will be notified of your expected delivery date.


Payments

Please use our convenient payment methods located on the order form. If you wish to pay by check please contact Customer Service. Rest assured your financial transactions are safe and secure through the Yahoo Merchant Services system. We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, DinersClub, Discover, and American Express. We will also accept checks, but that will delay delivery of your order. Please contact us if you wish to pay by check.


Tax

Because North Cedar Company is located in Connecticut, only customers living in the state of Connecticut will be subject to a 6% sales tax. Orders from all other states are not taxable by North Cedar Company.

Warranty

All furniture comes with a manufacturers five (5) year limited warranty. If any piece of furniture is proved to be defective by reason of improper workmanship and/or material we will replace, at our discretion, that part or the whole product at no charge to you. This warranty does not cover defects caused by: modification, alteration or repair of the enclosed product by anyone other than the original manufacturer. This warrantee does not include return shipping costs. If you need to use your warrantee please contact Customer Service as soon as possible and you will be given a return address and information. You must have a receipt for your purchase.


Freight Damage

Customers should fully inspect every shipment received before signing any bill of lading. Please note what damages were incurred on the bill of lading before signing. If you incur any damages during shipping please contact Customer Service for instructions.
